The Office of Equal Business Opportunity (OEBO) is concerned about the health and wellbeing of our small business owners, their families as well as the health of your business. We are certain that businesses in our community are taking important steps to ensure the safety of your families, workforce and our community and we want to help you communicate those safeguards in a compelling way as it relates to the coronavirus (COVID-19). 

The OEBO has compiled pertinent resources for our local small businesses and we invite you to take a moment to click on the “COVID-19” banner located on the home page of our website http://discover.pbcgov.org/oebo. There you will find information on OEBO operations, key information for businesses from our state and local government, small business loans and more.

Effective Monday, March 23, 2020, the Office of Equal Business Opportunity will no longer accept in-person client appointments or walk-ins until further notice.

Only OEBO Personnel and County Department Staff are authorized and/or may request entry at this time.

Certification and Recertification documents may be uploaded to the Vendor Self-Service portal (https://pbcvssp.co.palm-beach.fl.us/webapp/vssp/AltSelfService) or mailed directly to the office. Subsequent requests for additional information can be e-mailed to oebo@pbcgov.org and will be distributed to the appropriate Small Business Development Specialist.

Welcome and thank you for visiting the Palm Beach County Office of Equal Business Opportunity (OEBO), formerly known as the Office of Small Business Assistance. 

Although our name has changed, our service and commitment to our small, minority and woman owned businesses have not.   Our efforts remain to increase the participation of  small, minority and woman owned business in the procurement of goods and services and we encourage your continued efforts in learning  more about doing business with Palm Beach County.
