What is Transit Watch?
Transit Watch is a nationwide safety and security awareness program designed to encourage the active participation of transit passengers and employees to maintain a safe transit environment.
- Be observant, alert, watchful and aware.
- If something doesn't look quite right, report it to the bus driver, if you are not on a bus, call your local police department or 911 if it's an emergency.
- Take the initiative and become the community's transit eyes and ears.
- We can all count on a safe ride if we look out for each other.
