All Drowning Prevention Public Education and Programs through April 30, 2020 are suspended and community pools within Palm Beach County are closed by Emergency Order Number 2020-003a.
However, applications for our free/reduced cost swim program will be accepted April 1st but not processed until given notification to do so. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate through this time period.
Does your child(ren) qualify? Must be:
1) PBC Resident
2) Age 2-12
3) Non-Swimmer
4) Receive EITHER Medicaid, Fl Kid Care, Healthy Kids OR parent/guardian receives food stamps or section 8 housing. Child(ren) who are special needs or a foster child can also qualify as long as requirements 1-3 are met.
Has your child used the program before? If they have already redeemed two vouchers in the past they are no longer eligible (3 if special needs). Please click on swimming lessons to find aquatic facilities providing lessons in your area.
Click on http://api.pbcfr.org/dpcwatersafety/ and answer all questions and closely follow the directions. If you have more than 1 child you must answer the questions again and fill out a separate application.
