A list of businesses that are considered part of the Essential Critical Infrastructure and are allowed to continue operating can be found in: The Governor’s Executive Order #20-91 .

“Effective as of March 30, 2020 at 12:01 a.m., all community pools in Palm Beach County are closed, including community pools in both incorporated and unincorporated Palm Beach County”. (Order No. 2020-003a)

“Effective as of March 25, 2020, all public and private golf courses within Palm Beach County are closed. This includes, but is not limited to: municipal golf. Order No. 2020-003a courses; private membership-only access golf courses and golf clubs; community association and condominium association golf courses and parks; homeowner association golf courses, golf clubs and parks; and every other golf course, golf facility and park within unincorporated and incorporated Palm Beach County. (Order No. 2020-003a)

“on March 22, 2020, Palm Beach County issued its COVID-19 Public Safety Order No. 1 whereby, among other things, pursuant to subsection two (2), Palm Beach County closed all boat docks, ramps, marinas, and any other venues used for launching any recreational vessels; and WHEREAS, on March 23, 2020, Palm Beach County issued its Amendment to Emergency Order No. 1, clarifying that subsection two (2) of Emergency Order No. 1 applies to all such venues utilized for any recreational purpose, including, but not limited to, fishing charters, boat tours, diving excursions, and the like, and clarifying that such venues may only be utilized for commercial fishing, commercial marine operations, and support services related thereto;” Order No. 2020-003

Hair and nail salons are not on the list of businesses allowed to remain open. “it is necessary to clarify certain provisions of Order No. 2020-002, and to remove hair salons and nail salons from the list of essential businesses;” Order No. 2020-002a

Exemptions to the Emergency Order include: “Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, builders, contractors, HVAC Technicians, landscapers, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences, businesses and buildings such as hospitals, senior living facilities, any temporary construction required to support COVID-19 response.” The Governor’s Executive Order #20-91 . 

Individual municipalities may institute their own curfew, but there is no countywide curfew in effect at this time.

Among the activities allowed during the Governor’s order that all persons in Florida shall limit their movements and personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities, is: “Participating in recreational activities ( consistent with social distancing guidelines) such as walking, biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, running, or swimming;” The Governor’s Executive Order #20-91 .

No. They can do virtual tours and close out sales that are close to closing. No open houses.

Yes. Workers maintaining structures or working on active sites must utilize social distancing.
